When the kids are hot, unwell etc I normally alternate these every 2 hours, but what I want to know is do I have to leave it 2 hours ??

DS had 7.5ml of Ibuprofen at 4pm but is still hot, do I have to wait until 6pm to give him some Calpol or can I give it now ??

when did he last have calpol? i'd give it to him if it was more than about 6 hours ago.

He hasn't had any Calpol since erm 8:20 this morning.

Teacher said he was fine all day but then he went all hot again on way home from school.

you can give them together

BUT you should not give ibuprofen every 4 hours (ie alternate dose) cause you will over dose them.

They can have three doeses of ibuprofen (i think please check label) and 4 doses of calpol per 24 hours

Ibuprofen is every six hours, paracetamol every four
