Ive just had a phone call, the hospital has had a cancellation and they want me in at 12:15 for my first appointment. What is going to happen. I was expecting to wait months for the app. I only went to the doctors last week.

Have no idea but I would put on clean knickers

Will be interested to hear how you get on. I am toying with going to my GP to talk about it.

I had inbe about 4 weeks ago. Ohysio was really nice. Gave e an interbal exam and had to do pevic floor squeez while she was doing it. She sent me away with a fluid diary - I had to measure everything that went in and out for 3 days and what time and whether I had any leakage.

Gave me more tips for strenthening my bladder and pelvic flor exercises.

I had me second apptment the other day and she gave me another internal and gave me apoointment for electro stimulation procedure which appaently is not as fun as it sounds ) but doesn't hurt. I start that after CHristmas.

HTH - not unpleasant experience at all and was all quite straightforward.

was trying to do that quickly before you went - sorry about typos - hope it makes sense

Oh, thanks.
Ive been meaning to ask the doctor about it for YEARS. but it was the recent coughing bug that made me go, I couldn't keep my trousers dry. The only exercise I can do is Aqua Arobics as then nobody can see the leakage. So clean knickers it is , was def going to any way. But thanks for the quick reoly.

hope it all goes ok

That was a really good educational appointment.
It turns out all those pelvic floor exercises I was doing were totally wrong. Completely wrong technique. All I was working on were my tummy and buttock muscles.
So here begins my journey towards being able to sneeze without crossing my legs (suffering from hayfever doesn't help), to be able to finally go for those runs my daughter wants me to join in with and to be able to do normal lifting chores (like lifting the laundry basket) without worry.
