What were your symptoms of DVT?

Had my covid jab last week of November - 24 hours later leg pain started in my right calf (general aching), didn't think much of it to begin with. 24 hours after that the pain moved into my calf and then settled in my right bum cheek!

I called the doctors and they said if there was no swelling, redness or cramp like pain to not worry so I put it to the back of my head.

Today I have woken up and behind my right knee is aching (not cramp, nothing swollen or red or hot or obvious there) it is in the crease at the very right hand side can point to where it aches.

I'm obviously still worried this could be a blood clot although I don't have any 'red flags'

Can anyone offer any advice. I really don't feel it is a 111 situation at this moment in time...

There is a valve controlling flow of blood back up the leg which is behind the knee and which potentially DVT’s are sometimes found. Personally I would ring 111 and explain your symptoms, a DVT can usually be identified with a blood test (which if certain ‘markers’ are high) then leads to a scan of the affected part.’

Mine felt like I had pulled a muscle in my leg and then moved on to feeling swollen but not hot or crampy.

If in doubt head to A&E better to be checked with blood test.
