Can you interpret these blood test results?

I have just had blood test results back. I tested positive for Covid 4 weeks and 2 days before the blood test was carried out.

The test results that came back slightly raised were:

White blood cell count (should be between 4-11) and mine was 11.6

Lymphocytes (should be between 1-3) and mine was 3.7.

Could these both be linked to my recent Covid infection? I also had to have antibiotics during my recent Covid.

I’ve been asked to make an appointment to discuss with the doctor so any and all insight would be helpful!

The blood results are from 4 weeks ago, or do you mean from 2 days ago?

The borderline raised wcc will have been due to whatever infection you were taking antibiotics for.

I wouldn't worry at all. (Well, it's a bit worrying they are telling you blood results from 4 weeks ago if that is what has occurred..)

The blood test was last week. The covid infection was 4 weeks ago. The antibiotics were about 2 weeks before the bloods were taken.

It suggests viral infection but very mild response which could mean the response is on it’s way down
Lymphocytes deal with viruses
neutrophils ( another type of white blood cell)
attacks bacteria
