Dents in lower calf muscle

I noticed a few months ago that I had a dent in my lower calf on the outside. Tonight I have two, one above the other with around an inch or so between the two. There's no pain. Can't find much info online. I'm 50 and taking Losartan for high blood pressure.

Does anyone else have/had this?

Have you got a pic? If it shows up when yoU point your toe, it’s probably the junction between your gastrocnemius and soleus muscles.

I'll try and upload a pic. Thanks

This is with my toe pointing. The lower one doesn't look as bad now and seeing it on a photo I'm wondering if the upper one could be because I wrap my leg around the kitchen chair (three legged with a leg in front) when I'm on my laptop mumsnetting working, but it's been a couple of hours since I last sat in the kitchen.

I need to go for a blood pressure check this week so will mention it to the nurse

You look like you have oedema to me

Ocsetldil · 12/12/2021 23:52

Yes

Drink 3 litres of water a day and lie on the floor with your bum against the wall and your legs raised up resting against the wall.

Go to a health shop and ask for some circulation tissanes.

Now I'm really embarrassed for asking about this Blush Looked at my leg this morning straight after getting out of bed, which I wouldn't normally do, and there's absolutely nothing there Blush

We've had a really bad couple of months as a family and because of less free time, worry and stress too much wine drunk and crap food eaten and not enough water drunk. Time to get back into some better habits so I can stop embarrassing myself asking stupid questions on the internet Blush Blush

Have you figured it out? Purely by accident, I noticed same on me today. Can't find any info on it. It's not edema--no dimpling.
