Nitrofurantoin Anyone taken this tab for pressure pain

I went to drs with pressure pain and at the bottom of stomach almost feels as if being pumped up, took water sample and next day had a text message saying I was to take these tabs, 4 times a day 100mg each tab, as a precaution, apparently I have protein in my urine and it’s cloudy, waiting for results now from lab for outcome

Yes I’ve taken it and it worked well for UTI. Had to take it a week as 3 days wasn’t enough. Made my pee very yellow, but no other side effects I can recall. Pretty standard drug for urine infections and much less side effects then trimethoprim in my experience, and no thrush either which is a plus.

Yes same dosage from what I remember, will take a few days to work. Hope you feel better soon!

I had it for UTI but it made me so ill I had to stop taking it. Yy to bright yellow pee, at least mine didn't look pink anymore (I had blood in my urine).
