Can you get foot ganglions??!

As the title says!

I have a back of wrist ganglion, comes and goes. Today I find I have a small pea sized lump that has emergedon the top of my fore-foot; for the medically inclined, dorsum, proximal 2/3 metatarsal area. Painless but hard.

Is this another ganglion?

Yes I’ve got one! Top of foot, movable. Grim. Been there a while. Doctor told me on no uncertain terms NOT to bash it with a bible

Worth getting checked out just to be sure though. I’ve had one on my knee for about eight million years that has just never gone

It doesn't hurt.

I got one at the inside side of my right foot. Slightly bigger than the size of a pea and hard and immovable, like bone. I had it x-rayed and it was fluid-filled ganglion cyst. If it was bone cancer, there would likely be pain and it would be getting bigger but this stayed the same size and was painless. The doctor said if there is no pain or discomfort, there is nothing to worry about and with time, it may reduce on its own.

I think get an x-ray for reassurance. It sounds like a ganglion cyst.

Yes! I had one a few months ago, after dropping something very heavy on the top of my foot. It hurt like hell initially and I thought it was just a very lingering bruise. Then I had a wobbly bump that I could sometimes pop back in between a couple of tendons. Which was fun. It eventually went, though for a while I thought I could feel the empty capsule as it had a different texture.

Apparently they can refill quite often so I'm on the look-out.
