hi all, hope you dont mind me posting here, im at my wits end!!! My lo is just over 2 and around 2 months ago he broke his final four back molars. My question is that even though these teeth have broke through can he still be teething? I am thinking even though they have fully broken that perhaps they are pushing down still and also up. He has been dribbling lots in his sleep, and he keeps waking at night crying loads for an hour or so at least. this is so not like him, he loves his bed/sleep and i finding it hard as he is so irritable in the day with having no sleep either. Could i be right, can they still teeth even though the teeth are through??thank you in advance.x ps: he has had biting times lately and also keeps putting his hand in his mouth, all the signs are there for him teething but so confused as they are all through

Yes I think so, even though all his teeth are through his jaw will still be growing and the teeth could be moving, up and down to their final positions which could be hurting him. My DS1 is 3 and still getting teething pains even though all his teeth are through. We give him calpol if its really disrupting his sleep or if he actually says his teeth are hurting.
