Why are the whites of my eyes a bit yellowish?

They're usually yellowish, but at the moment they're a bit bloodshot too. I guess the yellowish tinge could be a lack of a vitamin or mineral? But what?

You could be slightly jaundiced. It may be worth asking your doctor for a blood test.
