Sickness bug - can you give calpol?

Ds has v&d bug, but is also quite fevery. Can I give him calpol or will it upset his tummy even more?

I think Calpol would be OK if he'd keep it down. Ibuprofen can irritate the stomach though so stay away from that.

You can try but when DS1 had it a few weeks ago he sicked the Calpol up quite soon after I gave it to him. It seemed to help bring his temp down a bit thouhj. I also sponged him as he was getting scarily hot.
