My 15 year old son is having an operation on his wrist in the next few days. He fractured 2 bones in his left hand and tore a ligament which now requires specialist hand surgery.
He's adapted quite well to the temporary cast and is managing reasonably well.
I'm not sure what to expect before or after. He's never had even a local anaesthetic and this will be done under general.
