Hey just wondered had anyone had any surgery at guys hospital lately? I'm due mine on Thursday and they sent a courier yesterday fir me to do a Covid test and then he waited and took it back with him. I think he said something about hearing a result in 24 hours but I wasn't really listening properly 🤦‍♀️

Anyhow it's been 24 hours and I've not had a text or a phone call so does that mean all good to go ahead as planned? I assume it does but just curious if anyone actually knew

Dental surgery if that helps

DH has never had the results of pre op Covid tests (4 so far) as they go to the department that ordered them rather than the patient.
2 different hospitals but neither of them Guys though.

The courier is maybe used to collecting for postal swabs so just parroted off the usual info for people who order their own and so hear their own results?

You could phone the department tomorrow & just ask them to confirm they’ve had the results, if not you would have time to get one done ASAP.
