Advice for preparing for five month old going into Spica cast

I would be grateful for any tips or advice on things I might not be prepared for, also advice on nappies / pads to buy in prep etc and any jiggery pokery way of keeping her clean etc.
My daughter isn't a huge baby and is only just into 3 - 6 months size clothes ( most are still too big tbh ). I know I should be getting big size of legless vests but how big do I go ?
I know I'll get advice at the hospital, but I'd appreciate other mothers experiences and tips on things I might not think of.
I'm aware she won't fit in our car seat etc.
Thanks.

Check out www.steps-charity.org.uk there is a forum and loads of advice and info on hip conditions and bracing.

Best of luck with your dd's treatment
