Is this just a cold-y thing or do I have to go to the GP? I really haven't got time this week.

You might have an infection in your sinuses, or an ear infection. I would go to the docs, he'll prob give you some antibiotics.Hope you feel better soon!

It can be just blocked ears`etc from the cold, not necessarily an infection. I've had it with no ear infection, it clears when the cold/bunged-upness goes. Ear infections hurt most of the time, not just when nose blowing.

Ooh replies! It feels a lot better today and I think I figured out what it was. Dh was snoring incredibly loudly the night before last and I used the foam ear plugs I keep in my bedside drawer for that very occurence. I think (in my bad tempered, I hate you for snoring and I want to smother you with the pillow, haste) I may have pushed one in too far and sort of bruised the inside of my ear. But thanks for replying!
