Hi, I had my spleen removed 3 weeks ago.
During the op the surgeon said that they had caught my bowel and as a result it had 'gone to sleep'.
I didn't go to toilet for about 10 days and they said I was impacted. Had to have an enema to get me going again.
Getting a bit worried now as my bowels are opening 5 or 6 times a day since for what I would call 'a proper amount' each time. This has been for about a week.
Is it possible I am still clearing out my intestines and will it ever stop ??
