Is it stomach bug or food poisoning?

It started on Thursday midday with bad projectile vomiting every few hours. Eventually just throwing up green bile. Then diarrhea on Thursday night and then eventually it's just brown water. Vomiting stopped Saturday morning. Could not even keep down a slice of bread on Thursday or Friday. Last night I started getting painful cramps and explosive diarrhea. I have been in bed most of the time since Thursday. I have been able to drink and drank some Dioralyte. No other family members ill yet.

Did you eat anything differently to family members? Or been in contact with anyone with a bug?

Sounds like Norovirus to me.

The only think I had different was a sausage roll from marks Spencer on Thursday morning that I ate 5 hours before vomiting started. And a burger from kfc last Sunday.
Not been in contact with anyone I know who has had a stomach bug. Went to a playgroup with my ds on Wednesday but he is fine so far.

That's exactly my symptoms and timeframe, from Tuesday this week, I've just assumed it's a stomach bug. I'm still not that hungry, just nibbling at meals.

cantrememberagain when did the diarrhea stop for you? I'm hoping mine stops soon. I can also not stomach much other than plain things like bread

Please get a pcr. Probably a bug but I work in the NHS and d&v are sone people's covid symptoms

It could be anything - bug or food poisoning. I think as no one else has caught it so far though, I’m leaning more toward food poisoning.

I had it 10pm-2am on night one managed to sleep and be dozy in the day and then it kicked off again the next evening at 7pm-1am.. and then I just felt sick and drained for another 2 days and zero appetite
