this really freaked me out!

Have just been sat at the computer doing some work and when I got up to walk my left leg felt dead and completely gave way so I was on the floor.

Then I got the most awful pins and needles which was hardly bearable. It still feels a bit odd but looks ago.

I do have a terrible habit of sitting on my one leg while on the computer and I was doing this but I had only been sat here about twenty minutes and sometimes I sit for hours like it and it has never happened before!

Perhaps your legs were a bit cold to start with - that wouldn't help with circulation. You just cut the blood off and the pins and needles was the blood starting to go round again. Nothing to worry about.

Get up and walk about get the circulation going and see if you stil feel strange.

if it makes you feel any better, I once did the same thing in sainsbury's cafe. I sat cross legged at a table for about 20 minutes. Stood up, right leg was completely dead and went from under me and I crashed into a table full of old women who naturally assumed I was bladdered. I was so shocked and embarrassed I just grinned at them and hobbled off.

My leg has never gone dead like that before or since although I;m still fool enough to sit cross-legged in pulic
