meningitis at school.panic or chill?

just found out little boy from dd and ds school was admited to hospital today with meningitis.do i panic or just keep relaxed eye out?

Neither nor. Bacterial meningitis (which is the serious kind) is hard to catch, even from fairly close contact, IIRC. I expect you will be advised if it is consideed necessary to give the little boy's contacts preventive antibiotics. I would certainly go to the Meningitis Trust's site and remaind yourself thoroughly of the symptoms (I do that now and again without particular reason). They also have a helpline you can ring and ask about this situation if you are still worried.

Poor little boy - hoping for a speedy recovery for him.

chill unless your litte one gets ill when go straight to A&E and make sure he;s c=hecked out preperly.

Hope thebpy fro school is ok, poor little thing. It;s a vile disese.
