11 month old with stinking cold - HELP!!

Hello,

I know I am not alone with having a baby with a stinking cold. My 11 month old is absolutely full of it. We are on day 3 and it's getting worse, poor little chap. He is so bunged up.

We've tried Medised, Carvol, Happinose everything to try and help him sleep.

Anyone else out there going through the same and have any 'miracle' remedies to help us all get some sleep!!!

Raise the head of the cot by putting a couple of books under the feet.

Buy a Sudafed plug in thingy for his room - they are great.

Karvol is best sprinkled on the mattress rather than tied to a hanky 'near' them.

Keep a beaker of cold drink in his room to give him in the night in case his throat is dry/sore when he wakes.

Erm erm erm - sorry, can't think of anything else.

My DS is exactly the same age.

Try propping the cot mattress up, you could try some saline nose drops to help clear his nose, a menthol vapouriser aswell.
