Bartholin gland removal - Bartholins cyst

Hi,

I've written on here a few times regarding my never ending bartholins cyst.

I've had it for years, it got drained after my labour and then came back. I had a balloon catheter put in and it's slowly come back to its original size.

It's depressing as sex is just painful, the thought of anymore prodding at hospital again cringes me out!!

So the other options I can see out marsipulisation or gland removal. I see that removal is only offered if everything else doesn't work?

My question is, has anyone requested this and been offered this without trying everything else? Only because I want to try for another baby however sex is painful and also I doubt I'll be able to get general anaesthetic whilst pregnant to try and sort out my cyst if I do get pregnant? I ideally want this issue sorted before I get pregnant !

Thanks in advance
