I was previously on the combined pill, withdrawal bleeds during the 7 day break always very light. My normal period is also light. Switched to the mirena coil, didn’t get on with it and removed it after 5 months. Worth mentioning that I removed it myself at home in a moment of madness, but no pain or any indication that anything was damaged. Went back onto the combined pill without a break between that and mirena.
I’m just having my first 7 day break, and my bleeding has been much heavier than usual. I leaked through the normal size tampons when usually I could wear lilac lite all day. This evening I’ve passed several fairly big clots (around 2” average). I have photos but not sure if it’s TMI to post. I’m wondering if I should be worried? This is unusual for me, but I don’t feel unwell otherwise. Just did a pregnancy test which was negative.
Just wondering whether I should ride it out, or call the dr tomorrow.
