Is phenergan OK to take with 10mg of amitriptyline?

Evening everyone,

I popped to the chemist earlier to get some phenergan as I'd read its good for occasional insomnia - lots keeping me awake at the moment.

Pharmacist asked if I was taking anything else, I told her 10mg amitriptyline at night for a trapped nerve. She said I would need to check with my GP, but unfortunately its too late as they were closed.

Does anyone know if its safe to take these together? Can't seem to get a definitive answer on line! Amitriptyline is technically an antidepressant which is why it appears in contraindications, but usually at much higher doses than I take, more like 80mg at least for antidepressant purposes, whereas I take only 10mg

Thanks in advance!
