My friend's children have had it, as have other kids in reception, and Ds had it 2 days ago - he was ill all night - I sort of had it, not sure, the baby is so far Ok - now my mum has got it. She came over to help us out the other day, I feel dreadful that she might have got it from me or Ds.
She says everyone at her work has had it too, golly what a nightmare.

Mum hasn't been sick for years till now, neither have I and I got very near to it the other day.

So has everyone had/got it?

My DS1 had it twice in as many weeks, but DS2 hasn't (touch wood) had it yet. I hate winter as there is always some illness or another doing the rounds.

southeastastra · 06/12/2007 08:23

yes, 6 year old had it sat and now 14 year old has it today. dp off sick with it too.

suppose it's me next. though i don't have the time for it tbh .

TwinklyfLightAttendant · 06/12/2007 08:24

Aw no! Poor Ds1. I hope your Dd doesn't get it. Yes, it seems pretty usual for winter doesn't it, there is always something. This seems like quite a nasty one doesn't it? Another friend saud it recurred.

I'm the only one who has had it in our house so far. It came from nowhere, one minute I was fine, next minute I nearly vomited over DD's teacher. Only just made it home without throwing up in the gutter and all I could think about was how I hadn't been sick in public since and incident with Jack Daniels on my 19th birthday !

Flame · 06/12/2007 08:32

No sickness, but DS has the sh*ts and a stupidly high temp

TwinklyfLightAttendant · 06/12/2007 08:35

Ds didn't even have a temp, that was the weird thing. He was just sick all the time. It really took it out of him. Hope yours is better soon flame x

DD just came down with it today and she has her school disco tomorrow!

TheApprentice · 06/12/2007 08:42

Ds had it but got over it quite quickly although the nappies are still horrible! DH had it and was so poorly, for once I felt quite sympathetic towards him!

southeastastra · 06/12/2007 22:09

oh my son is sick again

TwinklyfLightAttendant · 07/12/2007 05:53

Mine too SEA, he threw up again all over my bed at about 11pm. He had been fine for almost 2 days!!!

I lay there under a cot sized blanket (no others remained unsullied) most of the night, waiting for him to do it again, but thank God he didn't.

aaarggggggggghhhhhhhh when oh when does it stop!

How is he this morning?

All my mindees and DH have had it got over t and are now onto the Viral Infection going round

Stats in the eyes like conjunctivitis, and goes to the throat and chest, one of my mindees ended up in hospital with Pneumonia from it!

ABudafulSightWereHappyTonight · 07/12/2007 05:58

Touch wood it hasn't reached Budapest. You lot can keep it!

Sounds horrible.

Mind you better to get it NOW than in 3 weeks time.

My sis and her DH both got one on Xmas Eve a few years ago. And then Dsis3 started it on Xmas Day.
