haven't had liver problems, but if you are breastfeeding are you sure you are drinking enough water? i needed to drink gallons of it, a glass every feed at least.
i take milk thistle sometimes, esp when i overdo the booze. that helps. could you try that?

I had scan for gallstones, I drink far too much wine and have done for 10 years, been taking milk thistle for ten years too and my scan and blood tests were fine. It turns out I have a kinky gallbladder - it is long and thin like me and it bends over at the top. All our organs are the same type of shape as the outside of us apparently. My kidneys are long too!! How about that?. Fascinating stuff.

kinky gallbladder!!!! oh er!

Shell, i had gallstones after having a baby (were clearly there before but...) It is known that pregnancy does tend to bring on symptoms grom gallstones. These can be anything from extreme pain (believe me i know!) to vomiting, nausea, general feeling of unwell and jaundice. My bet is Gall stones.
