Left chest pains!

Hi all I have read thread after thread regarding left chest pains and finally decided to start my own.
I’m new to this, as of this morning in fact!
Here goes ….. I’ve had on and off chest pains for a few years. Always sharp stabbing/stinging is the only way I can describe it. Left side pretty much underneath my left boob! The only other symptom I get when they’re happening is feeling hot (think that’s because I’m panicking about the pains)
I’ve been to my GP, called 111, been to A&E and always been told it’s either anxiety or muscular. They’ve done blood tests, checked SATS, checked my chest and done ECG every time (never had the pains whilst having the ECG though)
Thing is I’m never really feeling anxious when they appear and then I’m only anxious because I’m thinking about them.
I’m an anxious person, I do admit that but I don’t suffer with panic attacks.
Earlier this year I had an abnormal smear result, went for check up for that and all turned out ok but I had never felt more anxious than I did then and guess what?? Not one chest pain at that time!
So I just don’t get it. I’m 33 and just think it’s got to be heart related surely? Or not? Please help! What do you think?

Have you drunk a lot of coffee today? That causes me to have palpitations.

Hi all sorry not been active on here, so much been going on! So palpitations stopped, but chest pains returned!!!! Been back to GP numerous times then about a month ago I went to A&E who did bloods, ECG, chest X-ray all fine and clear apparently. They eventually stopped but then the last couple of weeks have returned yet again. I am quite stressed at the moment with my husband being away with work so that’s all I can think of!

hi how are you know i’m having this since 4 months ago all tests are normal drs can’t get to the bottom of it and it’s really stressing me out

I have left arm and chest pain now and then. Used to have it a lot when I was highly anxious and stressed about anxiety symptoms and sensations.
I’ve managed my anxiety well recently but had the chest pain again last night for about 15 minutes. Now I’m scared it’ll happen again. Makes me so anxious. Why does it come out of nowhere?
OP how are you feeling now?

I occasionally get an agonising pain on left side of chest when I take a deep breath to the point I can’t take a deep breath it’s terrifying! Then I’ll burp and it goes. So for me it’s extreme indigestion / trapped wind. The relief after the burp is immense

how would you describe the chest pain

It’s like under my left armpit and also shoulder and sometimes neck
like a burning ache
