Have been to see my dd who is nearly 10 headteacher today who with the CAHMS team have questioned whether my dd has anorexia. I'm in bits at the moment, I know with the team that will be behind us, she will get the help she needs. Anybody know anything about it and how we can help her. Please help.

I am bumping this for you. I am sorry to hear about your dd, I have no experience of aneroxia, But, I couldn't ignore your post and not offer my best wishes and prayers for the future for you, your dd and your family

I do hope she gets the help she needs. How worrying for you.
My DD2 aged 9 is quite "well built". I'm not at all worried - she is very similar build to DS at the same age and he is now 6ft 3inches tall without an ounce of spare fat.
A couple of the girls in DD2's class were teasing her last year , calling her "Fat", and she wouldn't wear shorts all through the summer . I remember thinking at the time that this is how young girls get really hung up about their weight.
I'm so sorry your DD is going through this - it could so easily have been my beautiful, sensitive DD2.
My very best wishes to you both.
