Has anyone else on the combined pill been told that the 7 day break should now be shortened to 4 days? GP switched me to a 4 day break about two years ago saying guidance had changed and it was now thought that the protection can wain in last few days of the pill free week, so it was changing to 4 days. Thought they were ahead of the curve, but two years later, no online guidance or patient info leaflets have changed and the pharmacist knew nothing about it a couple of weeks ago when I mentioned it. I've got used to it now, but it's still a pain not starting your pill on the same day each month and just wondered if anyone else is doing the same or if it's just me!!
