dark mucousy stools in dds nappy

ive just changed my dds nappy an it slightly worred me, her stools are mucousy and alot darker than norma and there are like black bits in it, she is bf and has been quitegrumpy 2day also, cant get thru to docs always engsged

Hi, I'd suggest you speak to your doc eventually when you get hold of him but it sounds like your little one is constipated you can get lactulose from the chemist or try fresh orange diluted with a little warm water. hope this helps

eventually got hold of my HV who got me really worried when i showed her the nappy, by saying oh thats just not normal she really needs to see the doctor, 4 hours later when i seen the doctor he said she is fine, maybe just a little bug shes picked up aftergiving her a good check over, very relieved now, the HV got me really worked up about it though
