Worryingly loud burps in 5 month old

DD is 5 months and has been poorly with cold and cough. After every feed she burps so loudly that it throws her head backwards and it looks quite painful. She has also been doing really explosive farts. At first I thought it might be the Medised but I have only been giving that at night and she does this all day. Has anyone else come across this?

It's probably just that she is swallowing a lot of air due to her stuffy nose and breathing probs, so it has to go out somewhere and will probably not harm her if it's onl for a few days. Good luck x

thanks shrooms - she's a wee bit better today - still very chesty and coughing - may be a trip to the docs as she's had it now for 4/5 days
