Period 8 days late, not pregnant, so whats going on?

My period is at least 8 days late, i have taken 3 tests all neg. My periods are always heavy but regular (never been this late), but if im not pregnant then what else could it be?

I have been getting cramps for a week like i'm going to come on but no sign of anything

It just happens sometimes.

Just a frealkily long cycle, I had one almost 3 months longer and that was my doctors explination - it just happens!

Just have to wait, its horrid though isnt it?

Thanks mummy2, i have never had this before, my tummy feels bloated like i'm going to come on but it has been like this for over a week, my tummy looks so big (like i'm up the duff).

I have worked it out and i am now 2 days late

Still no sign of anything, should i go to the GP or sit and wait?

it could be exercise, diet, medicine, stress, travel, or even a female moving/staying with you.

wait a bit more i would, i have had cycles like this before too.

I hav'nt realy changed my diet etc but i am always stressed near x-mas. I have never been more than a week late.

I'm in the same boat. I did have an operation just over a month ago now and I also lost nearly a stone in weight very very fast because of something else. Perhaps my period has been frightened away! It's not very nice at all.
