Does anyone have any tips and/or advice. Had the accident last weekend and it was pinned/plated Wednesday. I jarred my back at the same time so that isn't great.

Had morphine and sedation on Sat/Sun - they tried to reduce it.
Subsequently 30/500 cocodamol although managing with 8/500 except at bedtime to maintain alertness and brain function; omeprazole and 500 naproxen morning and night.

Starting day three of laxido and haven't been now since last Friday! Presumably all the drugs.

Have a demanding job and confess I worked as much as possible last week albeit on two cylinders.

Am black and blue re fingers and 6 inches above my elbow and have humdinger of a bruise on my left thigh.

Am early 60s and have lots of help. It has really upset me that some people don't - what on earth do they do.

Tips for coping/managing/maximising recovery very welcome. Think cast comes off in about 12 days to be replaced with removable splint but suspect this will be a long haul. Voice activated software already ordered.
