Ear infection, pain and hearing loss

For the last week I’ve had an ear infection.

Dr did a telephone appointment and prescribed 7 day antibiotics. I have almost finished. The infection I think has mostly cleared up, but I still have pain at the top of the jaw and shooting pains up into my head. But what is driving me mad is the hearing loss and constant ringing in my ear.

Does anyone know if I need to talk to dr again, or will this go away eventually?

I'd go back. My DC suffers from recurring ear infections and sometimes requires 2 rounds of AB/ different AB to clear.
You also need to rule out mastoid infection
