Raised part on top palate and headaches, anyone had this?

I am obviously going to call my gp tomorrow about this (I am aware I might be directed to my dentist), however as tonight it is heavily on my mind I just wondered if anyone has any experience of this?

Over 2 months ago I had a rash on my top palate. I was about to get it seen when it went away. However, ever since, I have had a slightly raised, hard bit of skin in middle of my top palate that won't go away.

It is hard like there is a tiny lump underneath, no broken skin and skin over it is normal and smooth. I feel like I get some headaches that come from this if that makes sense? (Sensation travels from it to back of throat and up to my head).

Can anyone shed any light on what this might be until I speak to my gp/dentist? I am starting to feel quite unsettled about it.

Didn't want to read and run OP, despite not having much by way of an answer, and hopefully you saw/spoke to your GP yesterday. But I wondered if it could be oral shingles. Hope things are moving forward or improving for you, whatever it is.
