I have sore ears and alternating between being cold and being hot! Feel achey as well. have had a bath and doped self up withparacetamol. I was hoping to avoid it. Supposed to be working tomorrw but really feel shite!

sounds like an ear infection. I had something similar if I'm right- felt sick too like a migraine. Google for symptoms.

I think I have the same as you, so will be watching this! Terrible head since Sunday, fever, tired, sore joints. I have an exam Monday and want to be better!

Take an anti inflamitary, this may help. I'd get myself to the dr's or in the mean time ring up NHS direct(they always annoy me as they insist on taking loads of details) but they are damn good and so helpful.

I swear by Sinutab. You can literally feel it working within an hour of taking it. Be prepared for loads of yukky tasting goo to trickle down the back of your throat tho, as it breaks it up! Also seems to not react favorably with alcohol so don't take any before a bottle of wine!

Have woken up today with sore ears, swollen and sore neck glands and am only whispering as it hurts so much to talk! Have had to get DH to call work as I can't do it and I can't go in. That's a formal warning for me then for being off sick!

Think I have conjucntivitis as well, as I have had yellow yuck (sorry) coming out my eyes.My head feels like it going to burst as do my ears!. DH is away to the cinema with the DSes so have instructed him to get some Sinutab to see if that works
