Reaction to MMR

My LO (15 months) had MMR 9 days ago.

Today she has slept 9-1030 then 115- now (still asleep). In between times she has eaten almost nothing and been clingy and less energetic than usual although she did manage a bit of playing at playgroup this morning.

Is this the delayed reaction to the MMR that I've heard about?

Feeling bit lonely and apprehensive- rainy dark afternoon, dp 2 hours' drive away.

reaction to MMR usually happens between 7 - 10 days after the jab

also, there are loads of bugs around at the moment so she may be sickening for something as well

dose of calpol certainly won't do any harm, and a big mug of tea and biscuits for you!

keep an eye on her, and if worried call your GP

That sounds like my dd - she had the same sort of thing about 10 days after her MMR. Off her food, miserable and had a mild rash on her tummy (it's the measles bit coming out, I think).

So it's probably normal but as RS says, call GP if worried.

10 day reaction to MMR normal, temp, bit of rash, niggly etc etc. If at all worried see GP

sounds like DS 10 days after his MMR. we also had a really bad rash that would start then go then come back. and 10 days after that we had the swollen throat from the mumps bit of it!

but def see your GP if you're at all worried tbh
