My 1 yr old ds hasn't been well with chest and ear infections, last night he was sick a bit but there was blood in it, do you think it's anything to worry about? Tia.

Was the blood bright red? Was there much of it? It's likely to be either a little graze in his throat from the vomiting, or a bit of a nosebleed coming back up. I wouldn't worry if it's just once and he's generaly ok.

Hi

I think this is probably phlegm which has come up with the sick. Chances are that if he's had a chest infection and has been couging then all the passages by the back of his throat are a bit traumatised and there might be some slight bleeding.
My DS is always sick when he has coughs and chest infections - lots of phlegm - I think it's how little ones clear themselves out.
