Trying to support a close friend (age 43) who is waiting to have an ovarian cyst removed in 2 weeks. CA125 is elevated but CT scan is inconclusive. Cyst is quite large but confined to ovary - no other organs involved.
My friend is a single parent and has MS. The anxiety is impacting on her MS so I'm trying to be really positive for her.
I appreciate that the diagnosis cannot be confirmed until after the op but does anyone know if a benign cyst can cause an elevated CA125?
