pain under arm???

Hi. I've had pain under my arm for about a month now, maybe longer and it is bugging me now. I can't seem to get comfortable in the night as my arm is sore...it feels like I am pressing really hard onto the painful area, but I am only holding my arm to the side.

Any ideas what this could be??? It is not linked to my period at all.

No ideas - but a pain, any pain that lasts a month should not go unchecked. Get a GPs appointment asap.

hi Pinkroses, does it hurt if you press on it? Or is there any lump or anything. I had a sore lump under my armpit when breast feeding and it turned out to be some swollen breast tissue.

yes. It feels painful when pressed but is also just painful generally. I can't feel any lumps, but then I never could tell what I was looking for in my armpit! I'm not on any medication at all and I am not breastfeeding. I also never get pains in my breasts whist on a period or even when I was pg!!

I've got an appointment for a week on Tues for docs.
