Something wrong with my stomach since I had my son?

Hi!

Wondered if anyone could give me any insight, obviously, nothing is better than seeing my GP but in the meantime, I thought I'd see if anyone has been through something similar.

Basically, I think something is wrong with my stomach from when I had my son a little over a year ago. I'm not sure. Basically, at the top of my belly button, there's a little lump that sometimes protrudes; I can then pop it back in. My stomach also gets very bloated and painful. It's hardly noticeable at other times.

I delivered via emergency c section if that's any use.

Thanks for any advice or input.

It sounds like it could be a hernia. I'd ask your GP as a starting point and see what they say.

Yeah sound alike a hernia.

Has anyone ever checked if your stomach muscles re closed? I can’t remember the technical term! My GP at my 8 week review checked mine, which hadn’t closed so I went back a month later for another check

Thanks.

No one has ever checked my stomach muscles.

I'll try and see if I can see my GP soon ish!
