ds and dd had it a couple of weeks ago and seemed to bounce back after 24 hours.
Me and dh had it friday, so bad that at one point I couldnt even crawl back to the bedroom from the bathroom.
It continued into saturday and only yesterday did I attempt to eat anything.
I got up for work this morning at 5.30 and got showered but then felt so sick that I had to go back to bed!

Has anyone else had this, how long did it last, did the nausea go on for days? Ive now lost 5lbs and not eaten properly since thursday

You poor loves. We've just had this - or something similar.

dd2 was sick and had the runs on/off for 6 days (but she's just 1, think it lasts longer in babies). I was dodgy for a day, dreadful for a day, then weak and had occasional pains for another couple of days. Especially if I made any physical efforts or tried to rush around. DH ditto.

dd1 seems to have escaped with a slight loss of appetite for a few days

But there are several D&V bugs around, some with fever (Rotavirus for one) some not. Ours was fever-free.

Hope you feel better soon xxx

I was just going to post this same question...Ds(4) started with loose bowel motions on Wednesday afternoon and it has steadily progressed to diahorrea(sp) which he still has at the mo.
His glands are also up in his neck and he has a slight temp.
In himself he's pretty much fine, abit more whingy than normal but up and about and playing quite happily.
He's eating fine,in fact complaining constantly that he's hungry..I'm giving him plenty of carbs.

I'm just umming and ahhing about taking him to Gp's ,i know in all probabilty it's just a virus.

Dd(7) had it last Monday but by Tuesday eve was fine again.

Seems to affect different people different ways.

Hope you feel better soon.

I had this for 24 hours. DS2 (18) had it for a week. DS3 (16) had it for 48 hours. It's rough.

Oh god, our house had endless bouts of this last Winter in Bristol. We moved to Germany in August, and I was thinking just the other day whether it was back in the UK.
You all have my sympathies and hope you all get better soon.

I went down with it on Thursday, and finally feel human again today. Ds had it on Saturday and Sunday, but is fine today.
