My scalp psoriasis went away when I was pregnant too! It's now back with a vengeance and is driving me mad.
I tried the scalp lotion I was prescribed by GP - can't remember what it's called but it really stings and does no good.

I use ketoconazole shampoo and one of the really smelly prescription coal tar shampoos which give a litle temporary relief from the itching but don't seem to make any real difference. In desperation, a couple of days ago, I used one of the topical steroid ointments I have to use on the odd spot i get elsewhere. It made my hair incredibly greasy but IT WORKED! Would almost call it miraculous-been battling with this episode for few months and it has more or less gone overnight! I used Betamethasone Valerate.I wouldn't use it very often but as a controlling measure once in a while it seems to have done the trick (at least this time!)
If it gets worse I'd ask my GP to refer me to a skin specialist.
