I've NC for this so this manky picture doesn't follow me around 🤣

I get athletes foot every now and then and the spray usually works. I have this lumpy thing now under what I think was another patch of athletes foot and peeled my foot away - is this just mega athletes foot or something else??

Have your shoes been rubbing you or have you had wet feet with shoes or sandals on? It looks a bit fungal, I'd go and show it to the chemist.

I call it polyplops, but that's not its name! Daktacort hydrocortisone and anti fungal cream will do it. The blisters can get incredibly itchy.

I have this, doctor told me it is a type of eczema, I only get it in the summer and have to use a prescription steroid cream for it.

Nestofvipers · 14/07/2021 17:09

Looks like pompholyx eczema to me. Is it itchy? Pompholyx is usually very itchy.

MankyFootAlert · 14/07/2021 17:18

Interesting, I've never had any sort of exzema before! Yes very itchy. The dry patch came out of nowhere and has settled a bit. Have been using the anti fungal spray but may send a pic over to the GP. Lucky them!

The photo I had to send was much worse 🙈 don't worry they're trained to wait until they hang up the phone before saying ewwww 😅 My doctor didn't believe I was able to walk on it. But it's not usually painful, just itchy.

Chocolateteabag · 14/07/2021 17:54

I have this but on my hands
Consultant prescribed tacrolimus ointment for it - steroid creams don't have any effect
I have cycles of attacks - usually after washing my hands too much (yay covid!)

Pomphylx eczema. I thought I had really bad athletes foot for years and then discovered it was this. Mine is worse when I wear birkenstocks
