Yesterday afternoon I walked home from the station. It's about 40 mins to walk, and I'm very fit and healthy. About ten minutes from home DH texting to see if I needed picking up and I said no, I'm only ten minutes away. Then my vision started going a bit funny and I felt dizzy. I carried on walking looking at my feet, then I couldn't work out which way I was walking and realised I couldn't go on. My next memory I was in an ambulance, DH was there. I remember the ambulance lady saying 'we had to chase you!". WTF.

I went in to A&E (in fact I was right outside a major hospital) and they gave me an EEG (clear) and put glue on a small but little bit deep wound in my head. I was discharged after about four hours but they took my email for a neurologist appointment. I was able to walk out and meet DH outside but am a bit wobbly. They have cut out a chunk of my hair and I also have a black eye.

DH since told me that the ambulance lady told him that they were called because someone saw me having some sort of fit but when they approached a ran away. I still had my handbag.

I am ok this morning but tired and a bit headachy.

About 20 years ago I was investigated for epilepsy as I had an absence where I was conscious but outside myself. I had MRI and EEG and ECG back then but they said there was nothing epiform.

I'm so confused. Mainly why I ran away from the ambulance staff.

I can’t really help other than to say I used to work with someone who had seizures, and she always used to get up and run afterwards.
