Ds still having problems with his face :-(

Ds had emergancy surgery last week on a pyogenic granuloma that wouldn't stop bleeding

Well its been removed and the wound keeps on bleeding through the dressings we've been back to hospital three times this week

Today they've packed the wound and re dressed it and said they are going to have to do this 3 times a week for a month and then if this doesn't help he will need more surgery

The dressings are causing ds eye problems as the wound is only a cm away from his eye

Is there anything I can do to aid healing.

I don't know much about natural healing aids, other than things that make one generally healthy - like sun and fresh air, ha - but am sure someone does: keep bumping till they post.

hm...zinc is meant to help healing....so, maybe trying to find out about foods high in zinc or a supplement (but not sure if there are any for young chidlren to take, tbh)

Well more bleeding last night

This time they have packed it with a seaweed dressing apparently it has natural healing and helps clotting.

Fingers crossed this time.

Hi, sorry to open up this old post but I don’t seem to be able to find anything about Pyogenic granuloma’s healing. Could I ask if your DS’s face healed up nicely? My DD had it removed in January but it’s still very raw and red and just big on her little face. Thank you
