Painful lump in vagina

I'm scared! My vagina feels really tender and like I can feel a small lump forming inside my vagina lip at the top. It's not a bartholins cyst, it's higher than that. It's probably in line with my urethra but it's inside my vaginal lip...

I have a doctor appointment today but I'm nervous

I get small cysts there, I think it's hormonal and they go away on their own. Try not to worry yourself too much.

I had one a couple of months ago and it really hurt! I felt so swollen and sore I thought I had thrush but it was a purple lump. I got a really hot flannel on it in the bath and it bled a bit and once the pressure started going it was so much better. I did it a few times and it's gone now. It hurt to sit down before. Can you update to what it is?
