DD2 was born 15 weeks ago - and my hair has been falling out for about 7 weeks now. it's getting everywhere! everywhere i go i leave a trail (slight exageration...).

I don't remember it lasting this long after DD1 was born.

Started falling out at about 8 or 9 months (I was breastfeeding, don't know if that made a difference delaying when it started?) - in HANDFULS - and only stopped when I got pregnant again at 13 months, no idea how long it would have gone on otherwise. (Lack of hair blocking plughole was one of my first pg symptoms!) Apparently it's just the hair you would have lost anyway but the pregnancy made your body hang on to it, so don't worry about it - it's a pain though!

This time it started at about 5 months and has pretty well stopped at 7 months
