ave had a sickness bug since the wee hours this morning, not kept anything down, although am keeping water down for longer now. Am incredibly thirsty but worried about the effect it will have on baby? am sipping lucazade now, purely for some energy and hopefully will keep that down!

Poor ds2 was doing so well with potty trainign but have had to put him back n pull ups today as well

I had this a few weeks ago and ended up being admitted to hospital for IV fluids (am 35 weeks pg). Not meaning to worry you but it is v important not to get dehydrated so think you should call doc and see if they can do a urine test to check for ketones (sign of dehydration) and in the meantime try sucking ice cubes or tiny sips of water.
Sorry you're feeling rotten, it's horrible at the best of times but even worse when you're pregnant! Hope you feel better soon

ribena ice lollies and/or ice pops are good as well, as they get a wee bit of sugar down you. As long as you don't dehydrate you'll be fine. I had a bug when I was pregnant with dd1 and my GP cheerfully told me about how the baby is actually a parasite who will drain you of every ounce of goodness and nutrition whilst you starve to death and will be fine!!
with dd2 I had hyperemesis (terrible morning sickness) and had to go on a drip in the end but it took a good week of not eating for that to happen. My wee was orange! So keep an eye on that. Hopefully it'll 'just' be a 24 hour bug. AS long as you can keep some fluids going in you'll be OK. Poor you though... how miserable

have so far managed to keep my sips of lucazade down and managed to grab a few mins sleep while ds2 was engrossed in cbeebies....who said that tv couldn't be a baby sitter

As soon as you're better you'll be able to top up on all the food you've missed - the baby will be getting all of its nutrients from the supply you have already in your system. It won't be going without even if you are!

phew!

i dunno you go from worrying about one thing to another to another.

You wouldn't believe this was my 3rd would you?!!
