varicose veins

hello there, has anyone recently had v.veins 'done'-stripped or any other treatment. i have got a referral to hospital soon and just wondered currently what the waiting list is like? i know it varies on where you live. just wanted rough idea. im desperate for them to be done before i go on hol next summer as they look horrific. this will be the third time i will have had them operated on and im hoping there will be some improvement this time.

bradcomp - could you afford to pay for a private operation? There are better techniques and procedures available.

you know, i was considering that a few mths ago as the two NHS ops ive have havent made a massive improvement, but to be honest i dont think i could really afford it as i have recently just taken on a big loan. Looking back i should have put some of that cash aside cos itwould have been money well spent. maybe after this time i get them done if they still look crap it will be something i really have to consider.
