Could be a canker sore? I get them sometimes when I’m run down and they don’t hurt but last a few weeks.

Also could be a gum nodule?

I posted about a painful canker sore
It looks a bit similar but not sure

That looks like a mandibular torus - essentially it is a bony lump. they are unusual but perfectly normal and nothing to worry about.

It could be a mucocele. They are caused if you bite your gum a lot. I had one removed a few years ago. If that’s what it is then they are harmless, and they can remove them very easily.

I have a lump in same place (although it feels like its smaller than lump in your pic) and have been to dentist - he said it was a mucocele, like a small cyst filled with water. It drives me crazy and I poke at it constantly but dentist said it's unlikely to go away and getting it removed would be a bigger job than it's worth.

Torus mandibularis or a saliva stone ....

Did you see the dentist OP? What did they say?
