Clarkes shoes worthwhile?

Hi, just wondered what opinions other mums have on Clarkes shoes as I have bought Clarkes shoes for my son but wonder if it really is a worthwhile investment. The reason I ask is because I can barely afford them but prepared to scrimp and save for them if they really are beneficial for my son's feet development. Of course Clarkes have their take on it but wonder if it is really worth the money, especially as after all their exact measuring you are advised to buy the shoes a bit bigger anyway.

My own opinion is yes they are worth it!

The only evidence I have is my own feet though! My mum insisted we had clarks shoes up until I was about 12 or 13 and I have to say, I love my feet!

(although my dc have very narrow feet and I usually end up at start-rite even more expensive!!)

You can always get their feet measured then buy the shoes from Ebay? I know DSs old pairs are pristine (although I am not selling them), they really are like new. The only thing is they aren't actually fitted.
